INTERPRETATION

 Rates are valid for work on the territory of Ukraine

• Charges begin when an interpreter(s) reports to the event location and continue until an interpreter is dismissed by a client regardless whether an interpreter is actually interpreting, waiting for client, setting-up equipment, or performs errands for a client.

   

• Overtime rate is 150% of the established rate for specific category and applies to each work hour in excess of 8 hours per day.

   

• Travel time to locations out of Kiev is charged at 75% of the established daily rate for specific category. Only daily rate applies to assignments out of Kiev.

   

• Travel expenses, such as lodging, transportation, parking, business-related long distance phone calls, and per-diem are not included in the above rates.

   

• Whenever possible we assign local interpreters.  If local interpreter is not available, we will, at your discretion, assign an interpreter that can get to your desired location with a least expense.

   

• A 40-60% deposit of the estimated charges may be required for first-time clients with the remainder due within 10 days of invoicing. Estimated travel expenses and per-diem in excess of $20,00 must be paid in advance.

   

• If a client cancels an assignment after signing a contract, cancellation fee is 40% of the estimated charges plus any actual out-of pocket expenses that have been paid by us in connection with an assignment prior to such cancellation.
